Good to know
Clarinet theory

FROM HIGH A FLAT TO BASS

Whether jazz, classical or folk music – the clarinet is at home in many genres and instrumentations. But every clarinettist has their own ideas about sound and musical expression. Our focus is on individual creativity. We bring diversity and artistic requirements together and thus create a harmonious interplay between musicians and their instruments.

WOOD SELECTION

We carefully store precious tonewoods such as boxwood, mopane, grenadilla or cocobolo in our own wood store for several years before they are used to make a SEGGELKE clarinet. For unique instruments in particular, it is important to select the wood with great care in order to obtain the sound and tone that the player desires. The structure of the wood is determined by hand to create an exceptional sound and an exclusive look. Set new sound standards with our handcrafted instruments.
